Hell Let Loose: Vietnam roadmap details Updates 1.5 and 2.0

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam plans the M14, Type 56 SKS and a licensed Huey for Update 1.5, followed by Khe Sanh and more Allied weapons in Update 2.0.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam now has its first roadmap, outlining content planned for the remainder of 2026. Update 1.5 is scheduled for September with two rifles and an authentic Huey model, while Update 2.0 will expand the game with its first post-launch battlefield.

Khe Sanh is the bigger tactical addition

Update 2.0 will introduce Khe Sanh as the first new map for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. The developer says it will look and play differently from the current battlefields, creating new tactical problems for both teams. More detailed previews are planned closer to release, so the announcement does not yet establish how its terrain or objectives will affect the existing meta.

The same update will expand the weapon selection available to the US and Allies force. No complete weapon list is included in the available announcement, making it too early to judge whether particular classes or engagement ranges will benefit.

What arrives first in Update 1.5

The September update is the first scheduled content drop. It adds two rifles requested by the community:

  • the M14 for US Forces;
  • the Type 56 SKS for the NVA.

Helicopters are also receiving a visible authenticity pass. Existing models will be updated to depict the officially licensed Bell UH-1 Iroquois, better known as the Huey.

The planned onboard radio is more than a cockpit sound effect. The co-pilot will control the music, passengers will hear it inside the aircraft, and nearby infantry will hear it as the helicopter passes. Multiple Hueys are intended to play a synchronised feed rather than separate tracks. A dedicated music-volume option will let players reduce or mute it, including streamers who do not want copyrighted music captured in their content.

Maintenance continues between content drops

The roadmap is not limited to maps, weapons and vehicles. Optimisation, bug fixes, stability work and general improvements will accompany major updates or arrive through smaller patches and hotfixes.

That distinction matters because a small technical patch can affect third-party software even when it adds no headline feature. Conversely, publishing a roadmap does not modify the executable and should not cause an immediate compatibility problem. The relevant events are the actual client downloads for Updates 1.5 and 2.0.

What this means for players using software

There is no reason to replace a working setup solely because the roadmap was announced. Once Update 1.5 goes live, however, avoid assuming that a pre-update build remains compatible. Check the software update statuses and wait for explicit confirmation before starting a session with it enabled.

The M14 and Type 56 SKS may require new per-weapon profiles in software that handles aim or visual settings by item. The licensed Huey model can also require entity filters to be checked. With Update 2.0, radar and ESP implementations should be tested on Khe Sanh rather than presumed to work correctly on an unseen map. The Hell Let Loose: Vietnam software catalog is the appropriate place to review available builds, but a listing alone should not be treated as proof of day-one patch support.

The roadmap contains no announced anti-cheat replacement or hardware-checking change. On the information currently available, it does not create a reason to purchase or switch a HWID spoofer. Any response to anti-cheat changes should be based on the eventual patch notes and confirmed build status, not the content roadmap.
