Installing Shadow Bypass on LDPlayer 9 / MuMu Player 12 / BlueStacks 5

This guide covers the installation of Shadow Bypass for LDPlayer 9, MuMu Player 12, and BlueStacks 5 emulators. For Gameloop — the procedure differs, see below.

Important: Before installation, temporarily disable your antivirus and Windows Defender — they may interfere with Shadow Bypass. You can re-enable them after setup is complete.

Step 1: Install an Emulator

Install one of the supported emulators on your PC:

Step 2: Enable Root Access

Go to emulator settings and enable Root permissions. Without root access, the bypass will not work.

Step 3: Set Custom Device Model

In emulator settings, add the following device model:

  • Brand: SAMSUNG
  • Device Model: SM-X910
  • Network Model: SM-X910
Important: DO NOT change the device model after logging into the Shadow Bypass app.

Step 4: Display Settings (MuMu Player only)

For MuMu Player users, set the following display parameters:

  • Width: 1920
  • Height: 1080
  • DPI: 245
  • Maximum FPS: 240

Step 5: Install PUBG Mobile

Install the 64-bit version of PUBG Mobile from the emulator's built-in store or download from our website: shadowbypass.com/download

Step 6: Download Game Resources

Open PUBG Mobile and download all resource files. DO NOT log into the game at this stage.

Step 7: Install SHADOW.apk

Download SHADOW.apk and install it in the emulator:

Step 8: Login with Private Key

Open SHADOW BYPASS and log in with your private key (the key is sent to your email after purchase).

Pre-launch settings:

  • Choose game version: GL | KR | VN | TW
  • Enable Hack ✅
  • Enable Safe Mode (default) ✅
  • iPad View ✅ (optional)
  • 120 FPS UHD ✅ (optional)

Click START and wait for PUBG to launch.

Step 9: Open Shadow Hax Menu

When PUBG opens, tap the red floating SHADOW HAX icon to open the cheat menu.

Step 10: Customize the Menu

You can resize the menu by dragging the bottom right corner. Use aimbot carefully or avoid using it for account safety.

Common Errors and Solutions

❌ «Device verification failed!!»

This error means that Shadow detected a change in your PC's hardware configuration. Possible causes:

  • You used an HWID Spoofer that changed hardware identifiers
  • You replaced or reinstalled hardware components (motherboard, drive, etc.)
  • Registry or system file changes were made that affect device identification

Solution:

  1. Restart your PC to revert spoofer changes (if one was used)
  2. Contact the seller and request a Key Reset
  3. After receiving a new key, log into the Shadow Bypass app again
Important: Do not use spoofers simultaneously with Shadow Bypass — they conflict and cause the device verification error. If you need a spoofer, use it before launching Shadow and restart your PC before using the cheat.

❌ «Error» button in Shadow interface (connection failed)

If you see an «Error» button in the Shadow app instead of launching — this indicates a server connection issue. There are two possible causes:

Option 1: Shadow server is under maintenance

The server is temporarily unavailable. Just wait — maintenance usually takes from a few minutes to a couple of hours. Check the Shadow Discord channel for updates.

Option 2: Server access is blocked (VPN needed)

Discord and Shadow servers may be blocked by your internet provider. Solutions:

  • Method 1 (on PC): Enable a Discord bypass / VPN on your computer — this will also open the connection for the emulator
  • Method 2 (inside emulator): Install any free VPN inside the emulator (e.g. from Google Play), launch VPN, open Shadow and enter the game lobby. Once in the lobby, you can turn off the VPN

❌ VCRUNTIME.dll error on launch

System Visual C++ libraries are missing. Download and install the All-in-One Driver Pack and restart your PC.

❌ Shadow won't start / stuck on loading

Possible solutions:

  • Make sure your antivirus and Windows Defender are completely disabled
  • Verify that Root permissions are enabled in the emulator
  • Reinstall SHADOW.apk — download the latest version from the official website
  • Try creating a new emulator instance and setting it up from scratch

❌ Cheat is running but no ESP / aimbot

Possible solutions:

  • Make sure the Hack ✅ option is enabled in the Shadow app before pressing START
  • After entering the game, tap the red SHADOW HAX icon and enable the desired features in the menu
  • If the menu doesn't appear — restart the emulator and Shadow
