Deadlock cheats — VAC, software types and safe play

Guide to Deadlock cheats: how VAC and VACNet work in Valve's new game, which features matter in a MOBA-shooter hybrid (ESP, aimbot, souls tracker) and how to play ban-free in 2026.

Contents

Deadlock is Valve’s hybrid of a MOBA and a first/third-person shooter: lanes, items, souls farming — and real aiming gunplay on top. That duality makes Deadlock software more interesting than a pure shooter or a pure MOBA: both aim features and map information matter here. Let’s break down the anti-cheat, software types and safety rules.

Ranking of vetted builds: best Deadlock cheats.

Deadlock anti-cheat: VAC and VACNet

Like CS2, Deadlock is protected by VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) — a user-mode anti-cheat (Ring 3) with no kernel component. It relies on:

  • signature scanning of memory and known cheats;
  • wave bans — delayed, to hide the moment of detection;
  • VACNet — the same ML behavior-analysis system used in CS2.

VAC looks soft next to EAC, BattlEye and Vanguard, but it has a dangerous trait — quiet data accumulation. A build can run for weeks, then a ban wave hits everyone who used that specific build. Don’t confuse “it works” with “it’s safe.”

Software types

  • External — a separate process reading memory from the outside. Simpler and cheaper, careful on throwaway accounts.
  • Internal — injected into the process, the smoothest aim and most accurate ESP; needs solid detection bypass.
  • DMA (hardware) — reading via a second machine and a PCIe card; there’s no “software” on the main PC. The safest and most expensive route.

Key features for hybrid gameplay

  • ESP / Wallhack — hero, creep, neutral and soul-drop positions through walls and textures. In the MOBA layer this is a huge information edge: ganks, jungle control, timings.
  • Aimbot — auto-aim for the shooter layer. Tune FOV, smoothing and delay — VACNet catches inhuman corrections.
  • Triggerbot — auto-fire on target, quieter than full aimbot.
  • No Recoil / RCS — recoil compensation for spray-weapon heroes.
  • Trackers — ability cooldowns, item timings and soul leads; information features are safer than aggressive aim.

Safety: 2026 rules

  1. Don’t rage. VACNet analyzes stats: inhuman accuracy and corrections mean a priority review.
  2. Use a spoofer. HWID bans are possible even under VAC — without hardware spoofing, one ban drags your alts down. Spoofer catalog.
  3. Don’t load right after a patch. Deadlock is in active development and updates often — any patch breaks offsets. Wait for an “updated” status.
  4. Fear replays and reports. An obvious wallhack in a souls fight is visible in the match recording.
  5. Use a vetted provider only. Free YouTube builds have been in VAC signatures for ages; some are Steam-token stealers.

What to choose

  • Main account — internal from a vetted provider or DMA, always with a spoofer.
  • Testing and alts — external on throwaway accounts.
  • Information edge with less risk — lean on ESP and trackers rather than aggressive aimbot.
