Deadlock anti-cheat: VAC and VACNet
Like CS2, Deadlock is protected by VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) — a user-mode anti-cheat (Ring 3) with no kernel component. It relies on:

- wave bans — delayed, to hide the moment of detection;
- VACNet — the same ML behavior-analysis system used in CS2.
