Krafton is relaunching two key regional PUBG tournaments: PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall (PEC: Fall) and PUBG Americas Series 2 (PAS2). Teams from EMEA and across the Americas once again get a chance to prove themselves and, more importantly, to compete for PGC Points that open the road to the PUBG Global Championship 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Why these tournaments matter
PGC is the peak of the PUBG esports season, and you only get there by banking enough points in regional leagues. PEC: Fall and PAS2 are exactly the stages where those points are earned. For teams this isn’t “just another tournament” but a direct qualifying step: results here decide who travels to Istanbul at the end of the season.
What it gives viewers and the scene
- Return of strong regional derbies — EMEA is traditionally one of PUBG’s most competitive regions.
- Higher-than-usual stakes — with PGC Points on the line, teams play more carefully and meta decisions matter more.
- A player influx — big tournaments always lift interest in the game and pull part of the audience back into public lobbies.
Format and stakes
Both tournaments are regional leagues with a group stage and finals, where points are awarded by final placement. The higher a team finishes, the more PGC Points it carries into the season standings. For mid-tier teams it’s a chance to grab a qualifying spot; for top teams, to confirm their status and keep rivals behind. The season finale — PGC 2026 in Istanbul — already sets the geography: Türkiye becomes the gathering point for PUBG’s entire global scene.
How the tournaments affect public matches
While top teams battle on LAN, ordinary lobbies see a surge: old players return, match counts rise, and moderation activity rises with them. Krafton traditionally tightens anti-cheat enforcement during major events to protect the reputation of the competitive scene. A spike in stream interest almost always converts into a public-lobby influx — and therefore into more attentive eyes around you.
What this means for software users
- Play more carefully during major tournaments. Attention to the game is higher, reports are more frequent, and security teams work harder.
- Keep your software updated. A player influx means both newcomers and experienced “cheater hunters”; obvious spins and blatant aim draw reports faster.
- Check status before your session. Live compatibility statuses are on the updates page.
Current software for the game is in the PUBG cheats catalog.
