Fecurity shipped MAJOR TECHNICAL UPDATE #2 for Arc Raiders — the second hotfix this week on the branch that started May 19. After the May 22 fix killed the BlackScreen for MSI and Gigabyte owners, the team continued startup stability work — this time for fresh BIOS versions.
What’s in the May 23 hotfix
- Improved stability on system startup for new MOBO BIOS. If you’ve flashed your motherboard BIOS in recent months and ran into odd crashes or hangs on Fecurity startup — this update catches that class of bugs on the cheat side. No BIOS rollback needed.
- Overlay bug fixes (round #2). Continued overlay work on top of what was fixed May 22. The detailed list isn’t published.
Required to launch
Requirements unchanged from May 19/22 builds:
- Discord overlay in Game Mode (Borderless / Windowed), or
- Medal.tv overlay in Game Mode (Borderless / Windowed).
On 60–144 Hz — Medal.tv overlay, disable Discord overlay in Discord settings. On 170+ Hz Discord overlay is recommended.
⚠️ Launcher build date must be May 23, 2026 or newer.
Who should update
- Flashed BIOS in the past ~3 months and saw Fecurity startup instability — this update fixes the scenario.
- Everyone else — not critical, but overlay fixes and accumulated stability are worth it.
