THE FINALS 11.3.0: C4 nerf and Strike a Pose return

Update 11.3.0 pushes C4's cooldown to 45 seconds, brings Strike a Pose back in Team Deathmatch and adds Twitch drops — plus what the new client build means for third-party software.

Update 11.3.0 has gone live in THE FINALS, and the balance section is short but pointed: C4 finally loses its spam potential. Around it sits the usual weekly bundle — a returning event, a store set, an ARC Raiders crossover, Twitch drops and a stack of bug fixes. Cycle 3 of the esports season also doubles up with two broadcasts on the same Saturday. For anyone running third-party software, the headline is simpler: a new client build means new offsets.

The C4 nerf

The balance section leads with a gadget adjustment:

  • C4 cooldown raised from 30 seconds to 45 seconds.

Embark’s own note is unusually blunt about the reasoning. C4 has been an outlier for Heavy in both win rate and pick rate for a long while, and the Heavy archetype as a whole has been outperforming Medium and Light. Stacking two or three detonations onto a single cashout was the specific behaviour they wanted gone. At 45 seconds, Heavies have to bank a charge for the moment that matters instead of demolishing every defence phase on reflex. It isn’t the only tuning pass in the patch — further balance edits ship alongside a batch of bug fixes.

Expect slightly slower structural destruction around objectives and longer, more readable windows where the enemy Heavy simply has nothing to throw.

Event, store and free cosmetics

  • Strike a Pose returns, this time in Team Deathmatch. Every elimination spawns a small dance floor, and emoting on it pays out extra cash.
  • The store adds the Marshal Meteor Set, themed around patrolling GALAXY ESTATES.
  • Playing ARC Raiders unlocks the Azimuth Set in THE FINALS, with rewards possibly delayed by up to 24 hours.
  • Twitch drops hand out the Showtime Blue Set: spear at 1 hour watched, dual blades at 2 hours, sword at 4 hours, running until August 13, 2026.

Cycle 3 doubles up

Saturday carries two shows. AMERICAS runs its Top 8 with a cycle title and series points at stake; EMEA runs its Top 16, cutting sixteen teams down to eight. Unphased arrive as Cycle 2 winners and regional leaders, ENVY qualified again, Luminon are back after a third-place finish, and Kansas City Pioneers return after missing the Top 8 entirely last cycle. In Europe, Five Fears hold 175 points, a 75-point cushion, while everyone chasing them has to clear the Top 16 first — Cycle 1 champion Teiko already proved how brutal that stage can be by leaving with nothing. APAC is the tightest race: HIBOO knocked KZ off the top at 230 to 225, with DRG on 200 still in reach.

Cycle 4 closes the season, and whoever leads their region earns a direct invite to The Grand Major 2026. Sign-ups are open now, with qualifiers starting August 8 for APAC, August 15 for AMERICAS and August 22 for EMEA. Galaxy Estates joins the competitive map pool.

What this means for players using software

Gadget cooldowns are irrelevant to your loader; the build number is not. A patch of this size almost always shifts memory offsets and signatures, so anything that hooked the previous client will either refuse to inject or misbehave in obvious ways — ESP boxes drifting off bodies, aimbot pulling to stale coordinates, and in the worst case a crash mid-match that costs you the round and draws attention. Check the software update statuses before you queue and wait for a build confirmed against 11.3.0.

The second thing worth respecting is what patches carry silently. Anti-cheat tweaks rarely appear in patch notes, so the first 24 hours after any update are the worst window to test an old cheat on an account you care about. Give providers time to run their own checks, watch for reports of detections, and keep your HWID spoofer active during that stretch rather than reaching for it after a ban lands.

Finally, think about the mode you’ll actually be in. Strike a Pose in Team Deathmatch means fast respawns, clustered fights and constant close-range duels. That environment exposes aggressive configs faster than anything else: at five to seven metres a hard snap is unmistakable on a kill cam, and the sheer volume of engagements multiplies your chances of ending up in someone’s clip. Trim aim FOV and smoothing, and keep ESP to what you genuinely read mid-fight — positions through walls and held weapons — rather than a full overlay. Current builds live on the THE FINALS software page.
