HoYoverse top-up in 2026: Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail

How to top up Genesis Crystals and Honkai Star Rail Stellar Jade in 2026: UID top-up, ready accounts, Blessing of the Welkin Moon, regional pricing, and what actually trips bans.

HoYoverse top-up 2026 — Genshin Impact crystals and Honkai Star Rail Stellar Jade
Contents

HoYoverse is the most expensive gacha publisher on the planet. Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero collected more than $3B combined in 2025 — and most of that revenue comes from top-up shops on third-party sites, not from the official storefronts. After 2022 direct top-up with a Russian card does not work for any HoYoverse title — no Visa/Mastercard, no Mir, no SBP. That leaves three working paths: UID top-up via a reseller, a ready-made account marked “new/old”, and the monthly Blessing of the Welkin Moon (BoW). Below — what works in 2026, where the savings come from, and where the traps are.

What changed by 2026

  • Genshin Impact 5.x — still HoYoverse’s largest revenue line. The official top-up shop only ships in supported-card regions; for RU it’s closed.
  • Honkai Star Rail — passed Genshin in APRPU (average revenue per paying user). Stellar Jade and Oneiric Shards convert more expensively per pity than Genesis Crystals.
  • Zenless Zone Zero — steadily pulling players away from Genshin. UID top-ups for ZZZ have already appeared at most resellers.
  • HoYoLAB / HoYoPlay — HoYoverse’s own launcher, but top-up still routes through the same regional storefronts. Re-binding a payment method doesn’t help.
  • Regional arbitrage: top-ups in Argentina, Turkey, and several Southeast Asian markets cost 30–50% less than US/EU. That arbitrage is the whole foundation of the reseller market.

Good news for RU: HoYoverse does not ban for UID top-ups. Unlike Roblox and Epic, they don’t run an aggressive anti-arbitrage policy. Bad news — there are thousands of resellers in this market and quality varies wildly.

Genesis Crystals, Stellar Jade, and Blessing of the Welkin Moon

A quick currency primer so you can talk to a reseller in their language:

Genshin Impact

  • Genesis Crystals — the premium currency. Converts 1:1 to Primogems via “Crystal Exchange” in the game.
  • Primogems — what you actually spend on wishes. 160 prims = 1 wish.
  • Blessing of the Welkin Moon ($4.99/mo) — 300 Genesis Crystals instantly + 90 Primogems daily for 30 days (2700 Primogems total per month). The best “farm donation” by $/prim.
  • Battle Pass Gnostic Hymn ($9.99/season) — a separate reward track, not the same as BoW.

Standard Genesis Crystals packs: 60 ($0.99), 300 ($4.99), 980 ($14.99), 1980 ($29.99), 3280 ($49.99), 6480 ($99.99). Larger packs grant a “double first purchase” bonus once per version reset.

Honkai Star Rail

  • Oneiric Shards — the premium currency.
  • Stellar Jade — what you spend on warps. 160 jade = 1 warp.
  • Express Supply Pass ($4.99/mo) — BoW’s equivalent: 300 Oneiric Shards + 90 Stellar Jade per day for 30 days.
  • Nameless Glory ($9.99/season) — the Battle Pass.

Oneiric Shards packs: 60 ($0.99), 300 ($4.99), 980 ($14.99), 1980 ($29.99), 3280 ($49.99), 6480 ($99.99). Same grid as Genshin.

Zenless Zone Zero

  • Monochrome / Polychrome — premium and trade-out currency. Pack pricing matches Genshin/HSR exactly.
  • Inter-Knot Membership — the BoW equivalent.

Top-up methods via reseller

Four formats sell across /partners/. Each has its own risk profile and delivery window.

1. Top-up by UID (the standard)

You give the reseller your 9-digit UID (no login, no password); they buy Genesis Crystals / Stellar Jade in their region through the official HoYoverse storefront and credit it to your account. Crystals arrive in 5–30 minutes.

Upside: you don’t hand over the account, zero ban risk, savings of 25–45% vs the US price. Suitable for an active player with a real progressed account.

Downside: the first purchase must be “bound” to the seller’s region — so some resellers ask you not to also buy directly from their region’s storefront in the same billing cycle. Not critical.

Pickups in this format — Genshin: crystals by UID, Genshin: crystals and Luna by ID, Genshin: granules by UID and by ID without account transfer.

2. Blessing of the Welkin Moon by UID

The $4.99 / 30-day subscription — via UID resellers it runs $4–5 net. The most efficient donation in Genshin by prims/dollar: 30 days = 2700 Primogems, that’s ~17 wishes. For f2p players aiming at pity, this is a must-have.

The HSR analogue — Express Supply Pass, sold by the same logic.

Buy from the same resellers running crystals + Luna by ID — they usually have a separate BoW/Welkin SKU in the same listing.

3. Ready-made account

A reseller supplies an account with a card already attached and a starter set of characters/cones. Two variants exist:

  • “New account” — freshly created profile, empty progress, suits “start from zero + immediate donation” scenarios. Cheapest, ~$8–12 for the first pack.
  • “Old account” — the reseller accepts your existing UID and tops up via their internal chain. Effectively the same as UID top-up, just via their tooling.

Ready accounts loaded with specific characters/cones are a separate product — that’s no longer “donation”, it’s progress purchase. Details — Genshin Impact account and Honkai Star Rail account.

4. Apple / Google gift cards

You buy an App Store / Google Play gift card from the target region, attach it to a regional Apple ID / Google account, then top up through the mobile client’s storefront in-app purchase flow.

Upside: 100% official, zero risk. Downside: more expensive than UID flow (no arbitrage), needs a second Apple ID/Google account for the foreign region. Only makes sense if you already use a regional Apple ID for other things.

Regional arbitrage — where the savings come from

Base price for a 6480 Genesis Crystals pack in the US: $99.99. Via reseller in a regional currency:

RegionPrice in USDSavings vs US
Argentina~$50−50%
Turkey~$60−40%
Brazil~$70−30%
Indonesia~$65−35%
Vietnam~$70−30%
US$99.99

Plati resellers typically operate via Turkey and Argentina — that’s where margins are best. End-user price for RU/EU buyers is about 70–75% of the US sticker, i.e. 25–30% savings after the reseller’s margin.

Important: in August 2024 HoYoverse raised prices in Argentina and Turkey after years of arbitrage, but those regions still come in cheaper than the US. The gap just compressed from 50% down to 30–35%.

How to pick a reseller

What to look for in a listing:

  • Delivery method spelled out — “by UID”, “by ID without account transfer”, “BoW by UID”. If the reseller doesn’t state the method — skip.
  • Average delivery window — 5–30 minutes is normal, 4+ hours is suspicious (means manual fulfillment without automation).
  • Rating 4.9/5+ with 200+ sales specifically on HoYoverse currency, not the seller’s overall rating across categories.
  • Ban guarantee — for UID flow it’s a formality, but if the seller offers one — good signal.
  • Recent reviews in the last 30 days — the market moves fast, 2024 reviews don’t represent current quality.

Red flags: “requires login + password” (UID flow never needs them), “unlimited crystals”, “primogem generator” (100% scam, ban with full progress loss), prices 70%+ below market.

Step by step: topping up Genshin by UID

  1. Open Genshin Impact, tap the profile icon top-left — your UID (9 digits) shows there.
  2. Open Genshin: crystals by UID, pick the pack you need (60 / 300 / 980 / 1980 / 3280 / 6480).
  3. Verify the delivery method is “by UID, no account transfer”.
  4. Pay on Plati, message the reseller in chat with your UID, in-game name, and server (Europe / America / Asia / TW-HK-MO).
  5. Wait for confirmation (5–30 minutes). Crystals show up in your in-game mail, sometimes on the main screen — tap “Claim”.
  6. Once delivered — leave the seller a positive review. It affects their rating and helps the next buyer pick wisely.

For Honkai Star Rail the flow is identical, just use the HSR account listing (if it has a UID variant) or search “Honkai Star Rail Stellar Jade by UID” in the broader game currency category.

Common problems

“Crystals didn’t arrive after 30 minutes” — the reseller has a queue. If 1 hour passes — message in chat, they usually respond fast. If 4+ hours and no answer — open a dispute on Plati, money is refunded.

“Wrong server” — the reseller credited the UID but on a different server (e.g. Asia instead of Europe). Crystals won’t appear on the right account. Big one-off mistake — message the seller, they usually compensate.

“Crystals arrived but Primogems didn’t” — you mixed them up: Genesis Crystals sit in a separate pile, you have to exchange them in-game via “Crystal Exchange” 1:1. Not a bug.

“Bought BoW, but no daily Primogems showing” — log in at least once per day, otherwise the daily drop is skipped. The 30 days count by login, not by calendar.

“HoYoverse sent a suspicious activity email” — normal for UID flow on the first purchase through a reseller. The “This was me” button in the email clears the alert. No ban for this.

What not to do

  • Hand over login + password for crystal top-up — that’s only needed for ready accounts and Battle Pass. UID flow never needs the login.
  • “Unlimited crystals / primogem generator” — 100% scam, either a stolen account or just nothing. Ban or money lost.
  • Switch account region for arbitrage — HoYoverse dislikes frequent region switching, you can lose Welkin/Battle Pass progress.
  • Test with someone else’s UID — crystals will land on a stranger’s account and there’s no refund path.

What’s most efficient over the long run

Summarising one month of donation for an average f2p+ Genshin player:

  • BoW only ($4.99/mo → ~$4 via reseller) — 2700 Primogems = 17 wishes. The minimum donation to reliably build pity across 2–3 versions.
  • BoW + Battle Pass ($14.98 → ~$11) — 2700 + 680 = 3380 Primogems = 21 wishes. Standard kit for an active player.
  • BoW + BP + one 980 Genesis Crystals pack ($29.97 → ~$22) — 21 + 6 = 27 wishes. Pity is reachable almost every version.
  • Welkin Stack 6 months + 6480 ×2 packs ($229) — for top-end players chasing C6 on a favourite character.

Via reseller these totals run 25–35% cheaper than the equivalent direct top-up (if that were even available). In USD: BoW ~$4, BP ~$7, 980 pack ~$11, 6480 pack ~$60–70.

Bottom line

HoYoverse is one of the rare large publishers where reseller top-up in 2026 carries no real ban risk. UID top-up is the market standard: no password needed, 25–35% cheaper than US sticker, delivery within 30 minutes. Blessing of the Welkin Moon is the best monthly subscription by $/prim and is essentially mandatory for any active player. Ready accounts are a separate “buy a head-start with specific cones” story — not relevant to ongoing donation.

The game currency category has resellers covering Genesis Crystals, Stellar Jade, and Welkin Moon, sorted by rating and delivery time. For a fresh UID account, start with one small 60–300 crystal pack from a vetted reseller, confirm the credit landed, then move to BoW + regular packs with the same seller — no repeat delays.
